Why I created this programme

My 15 years of experience working in the creative sector has shown me that we have to do better.

Despite our good intentions and interventions, our sector still has a long way to go to be more diverse and inclusive. We must commit to doing the work personally and at an organisational level.

This programme will empower you to make changes and help you find your next steps within your creative organisation. It’s all about walking the talk.

Coming from an intersectional perspective as an LGBTQ+ working-class woman from a multicultural background, I’ve personally navigated the complexities and challenges of the creative sector. This unique perspective has reinforced the importance of equity and inclusion for me.

Throughout my career, I’ve tirelessly championed equity, including through fighting poorly designed systems and toxic cultures, whilst trying my best to stand up for and with marginalised individuals. It’s been a journey of self-discovery, which I am happy to share and reflect on with others. So everyone can benefit from my successes but also my mistakes.

I have also driven change to create a more inclusive and equitable workplace for staff. I have also delivered inclusive programmes for and with our audiences.

Moreover, having directed cultural organisations, I deeply understand the intricacies of making space to prioritise and act on your EDI commitments. It’s not always easy but it’s worth it.

That’s why I created this programme.

I know that lasting change is driven by leadership alignment. This programme is designed specifically to give your senior team the confidential space and expert facilitation they need to learn, reflect, and build a unified strategy together; turning your organisation’s values into concrete, impactful action.

Q&A

Equity, diversity, and inclusion are not simply an HR function; they are a core strategic imperative. For cultural change to succeed, it must be driven and modelled from the very top. When the entire leadership team embarks on this journey together, it sends a powerful message that this is a fundamental priority for the whole organisation. It ensures accountability is shared across all departments and that your EDI strategy is woven into the fabric of your business, not siloed in one department.

This is very common. The programme is designed to create a foundational, shared understanding for everyone, regardless of their starting point. My role as a facilitator is to create a “courageous space” where all questions are welcome. We meet each leader where they are, ensuring that those new to the conversation feel supported while those with more experience are challenged to deepen their practice. The goal is for all to become more confident and capable inclusive leaders.

Yes, of course. Everyone’s lived experience will support them during this programme.

If you have any concerns, feel free to get in touch with me beforehand.

Before the programme starts, I will also organise a one-to-one meeting before the course starts. I want to ensure everyone has the best experience possible.

I have designed this programme specifically for the demanding schedules of senior leaders. The weekly commitment is:

  • A 2-hour live, facilitated online session.

  • An additional 30-60 minutes for reflection, pre-reading, or applying concepts between sessions.

This manageable, consistent rhythm is proven to be the most effective.

Don’t worry: I have got your back. They will have access to the recordings from the missed session, and if needed, we can have a catch-up before the next session.

I have taken into consideration different learning styles. Thus, the resources provided are diverse. (e.g. there are videos or audio recordings, not everything is text-based.)

Happy to discuss any of your needs before the programme starts to ensure you have the best experience possible. So do not hesitate to tell me more in the registration form or discuss in our one-to-one.
